Colorado

Remember that time Sabatino Chen hit a three-point shot at the buzzer against Arizona that didn't count, but maybe should have counted? Colorado center Josh Scott says it might have been karma after the Buffs blew a 15-point lead late in the game last year, but opportunity is knocking for the Buffs tonight in Tucson.

Arizona

Credit some of Arizona's success on the hardwood to a rental duplex that guard Nick Johnson thought would bring the team closer together. As assistant coach Book Richardson says, the Wildcats are no longer in "a house divided," even if their house is literally divided.

Oregon State

Wazzu big man D.J. Shelton scored a career-high 24 points, but in the end Oregon State point guard Roberto Nelson poured in 26 of his own as the Beavs held off the Cougars. The cagy guard isn't forcing anything either, according to coach Craig Robinson.

Utah

While it would have been nice for Utah to play a tougher non-conference schedule, "it is what it is," as they say. Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Eisenberg tells the Salt Lake Tribune that the Utes have more work to do in bolstering their NCAA tournament resume. Winning on the road is the first step in doing so.

Washington State

Washington State might be ahead in the process of creating a winning product under head coach Mike Leach, and Leach might treat himself to some skiing once the recruiting season caps off.

California

Don't panic Golden Bears fans, but coach Mike Montgomery was dropping some “beat us in every phase of the game” lines after Cal lost its first Pac-12 game in six tries.

USC

USC coach Andy Enfield said the Trojans were fortunate to earn their first Pac-12 win against a previously-undefeated Cal team. He also said Pac-12 play is a “bear” every night. It appears the Dunk City guru has also mastered the art of puns.

Washington

Washington big man Shawn Kemp Jr. opens up about his battle with Graves' disease and his recovery that has him once again contributing to Lorenzo Romar's frontcourt. Kemp could be huge Thursday as the Huskies host a small-ball Oregon squad.

Arizona State

Jahii Carson is in the midst of a slump and he won't have it any easier against Utah point guard Delon Wright, a menace on both ends of the floor.

Stanford

Tom FitzGerald of SFGate.com caught up with Cardinal alum and current Lakers assistant coach Mark Madsen, who believes the college hoops system is partly to blame for Stanford's injury woes rather than anything to do with coach Johnny Dawkins.

Oregon

Finally, finally, finally, the Oregon Ducks aren't giving up inches of length to their opponent. They face the Washington Huskies hoping Ben Carter continues his success and Joseph Young finds his shooting touch.

UCLA

The nation's second-best men's tennis team got off to an expectedly-dominant start against UC-Irvine on Wednesday.
