TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona women’s basketball (4-17, 0-10) will take on No. 11 Arizona State (19-3, 8-2) in the first of the two-game series on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.

The Sun Devils will return to Tucson on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m.

The Wildcats are coming off two losses to Oregon and Oregon State at home last weekend, while ASU won both matchups against the same teams.

Junior Candice Warthen leads UA with 12.0 points per game and senior Kama Griffitts is also averaging in double-digits with 10.1 ppg. Freshman LaBrittney Jones leads in rebounding at 5.8 rpg.

Senior Deja Mann leads the Sun Devils with 11.5 ppg, while freshman Sophie Brunner leads in rebounding with 6.5 rpg.

ASU leads the all-time series, 54-31, including a 29-12 record in Tempe. The Wildcats have not won in Tempe since Feb. 26, 2000, where they won by 11. The last time Arizona defeated Arizona State was on Feb. 13, 2011.
