The week in social media photos: Feb. 19-25

Feb 24, 2014

We're hitting the home stretch of the winter season, and with that come some senior farewells. Yet with every ending comes a new beginning and we find ourselves at the start of the diamond sports (baseball and softball) where things are really getting going. In this one we've got an appearance from a Prince and a dynamite line from Bernie the Beaver. The week:

ESPN College GameDay came to Boulder and the students went wild.
There was evidently one Wildcat up early, too.

"Let the nacho cheese flow wild," is among my all-time favorite lines from a mascot.

If not for the kids, then who?

Great highlight reel as the Ducks seem to be hitting their stride late.

Afure Jemerigbe’s birthday was Sunday – or at least it would seem. She led Cal with 15 points in a big win over UCLA in Westwood.

My tapering usually involves a couch, not high-tech athletic performance gear.

These last few weeks we've seen some great team-oriented photos. Here's the Arizona
bench erupting over a late Jacob Hazzard three.

It's that time of year when we start having to say goodbye.

Joe Bruin and his cubs are about the most adorable thing we’ve got in this week’s social media.

We'll squeeze one more teamwork photo in here as swim season is wrapping up as well.

The Utes indeed got back to work on Sunday, sending the Cornhuskers back to the
Midwest with a 4-3 loss.

Lest we forget we're all fans.
