Pac-12 Networks returns to Vegas for 2014 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament, Presented by New York Life

Nine-person all-star talent team to provide non-stop coverage of eight live games from MGM Grand Garden Arena

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. – Let the show begin! Pac-12 Networks is set to make its return to Las Vegas for three days of wall-to-wall coverage of the 2014 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Presented by New York Life March 12-15 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. For the second straight year, every game from the tournament will be televised to a live national audience with all four opening round matchups, plus three quarterfinal and one semifinal contest airing exclusively on Pac-12 Networks.

Live game action begins on Pac-12 Networks Wednesday, March 12 with all four opening round games – Game #1 (No. 8 vs. No. 9) at 12:00 p.m. PT, followed by Game #2 (No. 5 vs. No. 12) at 2:30 p.m. PT, Game #3 (No. 7 vs. No. 10) at 6:00 p.m. PT and the Game #4 nightcap (No. 6 vs. No. 11) at 8:30 p.m. PT. The Networks will air the first three quarterfinal games on Thursday at Noon, 2:30 and 6:00 p.m. PT, as well as the first semifinal matchup Friday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m. PT, assuring at least one appearance by the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds.

Pac-12 Networks has enlisted a total of nine on-air voices for coverage of the tournament from Las Vegas and San Francisco. Play-by-play voices Ted Robinson and Kevin Calabro will pair with Don MacLean and Ernie Kent, respectively for live game coverage from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, while host Mike Yam alongside former Oregon State guard Lamar Hurd and former USC head coach Kevin O’Neill provide pre, half and postgame analysis from San Francisco. Yogi Roth and Ashley Adamson will also be reporting courtside in Vegas for each matchup.

Following the conclusion of the Conference tournament, the Networks will continue to cover Pac-12 teams headed to the NCAA Tournament with a live one-hour Pac-12 Sports Report: Men’s Basketball Selection Special Sunday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. PT. Host Mike Yam, alongside his Pac-12 Playbook: Basketball cohorts Ernie Kent and Don MacLean unveil the Conference’s NCAA tournament qualifiers and their opponents, as well as break down the entire pool of 68 teams and the regional battles to look out for.
