Walnut Creek, Calif. – This week’s Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will feature some of Seattle’s top family entertainment acts and reward fans with free entertainment experiences, the Conference announced today. Local musicians Christina Brewer, Kalieb Nash and the Evergreen Heights Choir will sing national anthems and the halftime line-up includes b-boy crew Massive Monkees, the Electrick Jumpers, the Emerald City Slammers and the Seattle FlyDogs.

The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament featuring 11 games over four days will be played March 6 - 9 at KeyArena in Seattle. Tickets for the tournament are still available at Pac-12.com/tickets. Last year the Pac-12 Tournament posted the second-largest crowd in the history of the event and fans are urged to secure their tickets early to get the best seats.

The entertainment acts are another example of the Pac-12 incorporating Seattle and its entertainment and traditions into the tournament. For the tournament’s trophies, the Pac-12 has partnered with glassybaby, a woman-owned, Seattle-based blown glass retailer specializing in votive candleholders.

The Pac-12 is also working with several of Seattle's organizations to reward fans at KeyArena with free experiences at the best entertainment destinations in the city.  Fans at KeyArena will win tickets from the Experience Music Project, The Seattle Children's Museum, The Space Needle, The Monorail, The Pacific Science Center and Seattle's Great Wheel.  Some lucky fans will even walk away with a one of a kind glassybaby, delicious cupcakes from Trophy Cupcakes or a fish tossed right to them from the world famous Pike's Place Fish Market's fish mongers.
