Cal Women’s Golf Travels to BYU for Entrada Classic

BERKELEY – The California women’s golf team heads to St. George, Utah to compete in the BYU Entrada Classic that will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Snow Canyon Country Club.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will feature 16 teams at the par-72, 6,015-yard course from March 17-18. Teams will play 36 holes the first day and 18 holes on Tuesday. Both days of the tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. MDT with a shotgun start.

The Bears will go with a lineup of Hannah Suh, Lucia Gutierrez, Nicola Rössler, Carly Childs and Jo Ee Kok for the second consecutive tournament.

California has not competed at the event since the 2006-07 season when the tournament was still known as the BYU Dixie Classic. The Bears scored a 934 in their last appearance, placing 11th overall, with Allison Goodman finishing 16th individually for the Bears with a 214.

COURSE: Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club (par 72; 6,015 yards) – St. George, Utah

FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes the first day and 18 the second. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.

TEE TIMES: There will be a shotgun start both days of the tournament with a tee time of 8:30 a.m. MDT both days.
