NAPA, Calif. The Oregon State women’s golf team equaled its third-lowest round in school history, an even-par 288 in the afternoon of the Silverado Showdown on Monday, and is only two strokes out of the lead as the Beavers look to win their second team title this season.

The final round of the two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and live scoring is available at golfstat.com. The Beavers will be paired with the Huskies and Trojans.

“We still have to play tomorrow and finish this out,” Oregon State head coach Risë Alexander said. “I am very proud and pleased with how the team performed today. We have been working on changing our team culture and processes. This takes time and I believe they have just turned a good-sized corner in their journey. They played with fight and heart today. It was fun to watch. They all contributed today.”
