UA has finished in top three at 16 conference championships since the 1987 season.

This weekend’s championship event means there is a point on the line in the Territorial Cup Series. Since the 2009-10 season, UA and ASU’s head-to-head match-ups took on an added bonus with the inception of the Territorial Cup Series. The Territorial Cup, once given to the winner of the annual UA-ASU football game, is now an across-the-board contest that includes all varsity sports. The team that finishes highest at this weekend’s Pac-12 Championships will secure one point for their school.

Last time out, the Wildcats earned a fifth-place finish at the Silverado Showdown. Arizona shot a team total of 886 (+22) with rounds of 294 (+6), 296 (+8) and 296 (+8) to round out the top five teams.
