Oregon State

Craig Robinson will not return any starters from last season’s 16-win team due to graduation and departures, but luckily for him, Maryland transfer Nick Faust is seeking a fresh start at rebuilding Oregon State. NBC Sports and other media outlets reported that Faust signed with the Beavers early Wednesday morning.

Arizona

Speaking of transfers, Arizona football is getting a big man up front from LSU in Jordan Allen, and Daniel Berk of the Arizona Daily Star writes that the LSU transfer is ready for a fresh start at Arizona. He was a DE in the Bayou but could play some nose tackle in Tucson.

Washington State

With Washington State baseball coach Donnie Marbut serving a suspension after arguing with an umpire against Oregon, it has been status quo for the Cougars under Gregg Swenson, the acting head coach and Marbut's right-hand man of nine years in Pullman. Marbut has to sit out one more game before returning to the helm.

UCLA

The announcement came earlier this week that UCLA will be the featured program on The Drive in 2014, and football players Myles Jack and Eldridge Massington preview what The Drive will offer fans.

Utah

The NFL isn’t the only way to go for a post-collegiate career in professional football. Take former Utah Ute Quade Chappuis, who is playing for the Dresden Monarchs of the German Football League. Good feature here from the Salt Lake Tribune.

Colorado

Sad news coming from North Carolina, where former Colorado football player Jermane Clark was shot and killed. He was a 22-year-old senior playing at North Carolina A&T.

Stanford

With Stanford men's volleyball soaring past Erskine in three sets Tuesday night, the Cardinal advanced to the NCAA semifinals. BYU is up next on Thursday at 4 p.m. PT.

Arizona State

House of Sparky gives us some offensive position battles to watch this fall for ASU football.

Oregon

Alrighty, here’s what Oregon football fans should know about Saturday’s spring game.

USC

Jovan Vavic has built powerhouse water polo programs in Troy, so it should come as no surprise that seven Women of Troy earned all-MPSF honors. USC is the No. 3 seed in the upcoming NCAA women’s water polo tournament.

Washington

Here’s a GoHuskies.com Q&A with Washington softball first baseman Hooch Fagaly. She hit a walk-off jack against the Sun Devils on April 18 and is a huge Chipper Jones fan, which this Atlanta Braves supporter doesn’t mind one bit.
