Nicola Rössler Earns All-Pac-12 Honor

BERKELEY – California senior Nicola Rössler has been named an All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection, the conference office announced Thursday.

The honor is the first in Rössler’s career, and she if the first Golden Bear to earn All-Pac-12 accolades since the trio of Emily Childs, Joanne Lee and Daniela Holmqvist earned honors in the 2011-12 season.

Rössler led the Golden Bears with a 74.2 scoring average after competing in all 11 tournaments this season. She carded three rounds at or below par and finished in the top 20 in six of 11 tournaments this season. The senior had her best performance at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic where she placed second individually with a 213 (-3). Her scoring average and top finish this season are both career bests.

Rössler and her teammates will be back in action May 9-11 at the NCAA Central Regional in Stillwater, Okla.
