Pac-12 baseball on TV viewer guide: May 2-4
The Ducks, once in prime position to compete for the Pac-12 crown, are reeling after being swept by their bitter rivals in Corvallis. This weekend's three game home set against struggling Arizona, which has dropped five of its past six, is a chance for Oregon to get back on track. The Wildcats lead the conference in hitting (.285), but their pitching has been second worst in the league. That 4.61 staff ERA must look mighty appetizing to the Quack Attack, which has scored a conference-best 257 runs this season. Oregon is now 10-8 in Pac-12 play. That's good for fifth place, so it may need a sweep this weekend to move up the pecking order and secure a more comfortable postseason bid.

Stanford at UCLA
Saturday: 7 p.m., ESPNU
A year removed from their national championship, the Bruins aren't quite as dominant on the mound, but they're still solid. They come into this weekend's set against Stanford sporting a 3.11 staff ERA, good for third in the Pac-12. Offense has been an issue for both of these clubs, though – they're both hitting only .253 on the year. Expect this to be a low-scoring series in which manufacturing runs will be key. At 9-9, UCLA finds itself right in the middle of the conference pack, so there should be a sense of urgency present for the Bruins as they enter this final month of the regular season.
