Jill Hultquist Steps Down as Women’s Tennis Coach
SEATTLE – Jill Hultquist has resigned from her position as head women’s tennis coach at the University of Washington, Director of Athletics Scott Woodward announced on Monday.
Hultquist joined the Dawgs in 2005 and led the Huskies to four NCAA Tournament appearances. She compiled an overall record of 97-98 during her time at UW.
“I want to thank Jill for her many years of service to the women’s tennis program here at Washington,” Woodward said. “I wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors."
Hultquist, who was an All-American at Florida, also served an assistant coach for the Huskies for five seasons under Patty McCain and helped UW to five-straight NCAA tournament appearances during that time.
A national search will begin immediately for the Dawgs’ new coach.
