Video: Jeff Lindquist throws 91-yard bomb to John Ross

Aug 30, 2014

While the Pac-12 is nationally known for having some of the best quarterbacks in the nation, Washington has some uncertainty surrounding its next full-time starting signal-caller now that Keith Price is out of the picture.

With presumed starter Cyler Miles suspended for the opener against Hawai’i, it was up to Jeff Lindquist to lead the charge against the Rainbow Warriors. If you had any questions about Lindquist’s arm strength, this 91-yard bomb to John Ross should answer them. Great ball, as a soccer announcer might say.

It wasn’t always pretty, but Washington defeated Hawai’i 17-16 to make Chris Petersen in his debut as head coach for the Huskies.
