The week in social media photos: Aug. 25-31

Sep 1, 2014

You guys! It's here. Fall sports are in full swing, or at least taking their first swing! We watched football this week and won a bunch of its games, and really all of this means we are at the start of like 10 months of college sports. Raise your hand if you're excited (Note: my hand is raised.) The week:

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

But seriously, I can't get enough of these tunnel vids.

It's one of the most intense – if not biggest – game faces going.

HOUSE.

The flag travels to GameDay. The helmet just travels.

For the second week in a row, shaved ice (aka snow cones) makes an appearance. This
time with Oregon State volleyball.

Some alumni got in on the action in Chicago celebrating the Bears’ kickoff.

So let me just get you up to speed: The Duck does a pushup for every point the Ducks score.
And the Ducks score lots of points.

Wilma has worked hard to be the mascot she is.

Gorgeous! The Huskies are always good for a beautiful, scenic water shot.

UCLA women's soccer is very good. No. 1 in the nation. And a big part of that is Katelyn
Rowland’s school record 38 shutouts. (Plus she got her 39th Sunday.)

The MUSS, along with a strong effort from the Utes, handled Idaho State, 56-14.
