Obum Gwacham makes big impression on defense for Oregon State
Usually when a receiver makes the switch to defense, it’s to the secondary. In perhaps the most famous example as of late, former Stanford wideout Richard Sherman has made millions as a result of his switch to cornerback at the end of his Stanford career.
That’s not the case in Corvallis, where former wide receiver Obum Gwacham has made the shift to defensive end. Judging by these two sacks of Hawai’i quarterback Ikaika Woolsey in the first half of the Beavers' 38-30 win over Hawai'i on Saturday, I’d say he looks like a natural in a three-point stance.
