BERKELEY – California opens the 2014 season at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic hosted by Colorado State at the Ptarmigan Country Club in Windsor, Colo.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on the par-72, 6,230-yard course that the Bears won last season with a 291-296-286=873 (+9). Competition begins with 36 holes on Monday with an 7:30 am (PT) shotgun start, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Bears will go with a lineup of Hannah Suh, Carly Childs, Morgan Thompson, Alice Jeong and Marthe Wold. Jeong and Wold will be making their first competitive appearances for the Bears in this tournament.

COURSE: Ptarmigan Country Club, 6,230 yards, par-72 – Windsor, Colo.

FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes the first day and 18 holes the second day. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.

TEE TIMES: A shotgun start is scheduled for 7:30 am (PT) Monday morning.
