Cal’s Pac-12 Opener at Arizona on Pac-12 Networks
BERKELEY – The Pac-12 has announced that Cal’s next game at Arizona on Saturday, Sept. 20 will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks. Kickoff time for the conference opener for both teams at Arizona Stadium in Tucson is 7 p.m. MST/PDT. Audio broadcasts of all Cal football games are also available on KGO 810 AM, the Cal IMG Sports Network, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and online at CalBears.com via TuneIn.
Cal and Arizona are both off to 2-0 starts after the first two weeks of the 2014 season. The Golden Bears have defeated Northwestern and Sacramento State, while the Wildcats were winners against UNLV and UTSA. Cal has a bye this week, while Arizona hosts Nevada in its final non-conference game of the 2014 regular season.
The teams will be meeting for the 32nd time with Arizona leading the all-time series, 15-14-2. The Wildcats have won two in a row overall, including a 33-28 victory at Memorial Stadium in 2013, and three straight in Tucson with a 10-9 victory in 2010 the most recent meeting in the desert. Cal’s last win in the series came in 2009 when the Bears knocked off an 18th-ranked Arizona squad at Memorial Stadium, while the 2004 squad was the last to win in Tucson.
Cal head coach Sonny Dykes spent three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Arizona from 2007-09.
Cal’s 2014 schedule also includes a pair of primetime weeknight matchups.
Cal and Oregon will play the first-ever collegiate football game at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara on Friday, Oct. 24 (7 p.m. PT). The contest will be televised by FOX Sports 1.
Cal and USC will square off on ESPN at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Nov. 13 (6 p.m. PT.).
Times and broadcast networks for all other remaining games are scheduled to be announced either six or 12 days in advance of each contest. Every Cal football game will be televised this season.
Cal will also play Pac-12 opponents Colorado (Sept. 27), Washington (Oct. 11), UCLA (Oct. 18) and Stanford (Nov. 22) in Berkeley before concluding its 2014 regular season by hosting a non-conference game against BYU (Nov. 29).
