'The Drive' episode 4: Paul Perkins, Jake Brendel combine for big play
It's the little things that can add up to big victories for UCLA, and tonight on "The Drive," you'll get an up-close look at one moment that changed the face of last Saturday's 20-17 win over Texas.
With the Bruins trailing 10-3 in the third quarter, Paul Perkins and Jake Brendel spent time on the sidelines strategizing ways to bust through the Longhorns' defense. Those moments of preparation led to a huge 58-yard run, which went a long way toward setting up Nate Iese's touchdown reception moments later.
And, of course, this all led up to the dramatic finish, with backup quarterback Jerry Neuheisel going deep to find Jordan Payton for the game-winning touchdown. Watch that moment from the sidelines and from inside the Pac-12 Networks studio, where Jerry's father Rick Neuheisel was watching with great interest:
Tonight's brand-new episode of "The Drive" premieres at 7 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Networks, with an encore presentation at 10 p.m. PT.
