Downright dazzling performances punctuated the third week in September for the Conference of Champions. Pac-12 Sports Report, on Mondays at 7 PT, wants to know which performance you found most impressive from this past week. Here are the nominees for this week's "Leader of the Pac":
- Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota put on a show on Saturday night on the Palouse, hitting 21 out of 25 throws for 329 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Ducks' win over Washington State.
- Colorado wide receiver Nelson Spruce, who leads the nation in receiving touchdowns, added to his numbers on Saturday by hauling in 13 catches for 172 yards and a touchdown in the Buffs' home win over Hawai'i.
- No. 4 Stanford women's soccer's entire defense – that's right, entire defense – is nominated this week, as it has not allowed a single goal in nine matches this season.
- USC women's volleyball's Samantha Bricio wowed the crowd in the Trojans' win over Maryland on Friday, recording five kills and six service aces – five of which were in a row.
