Softball Holding Tryouts, Seeking Student-Managers

SEATTLE – University of Washington head softball coach Heather Tarr announced that the UW softball program will conduct an open tryout session on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The session will take place at Husky Softball Stadium beginning at 3:00 p.m.

The tryout is open to all full-time, academically eligible UW students. All players must be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center. To register, go to www.elilgibilitycenter.org.

SEEKING STUDENT-MANAGER: In addition, the Huskies softball squad is seeking a student-manager for the 2014-15 fall and spring seasons.

Requirements: must be a full-time student with past baseball or softball experience at any level and able to lift 40 pounds. Managers will assist with practice set-up, filming and film breakdown.
