Utah's Kaelin Clay scores 4th return touchdown of the year
Utah's senior receiver Kaelin Clay has established himself as an electric return man early in the 2014 season. Lightning struck again for Clay in Utah's 28-27 loss against Washington State, as seen on the Pac-12 Networks on Saturday.
After catching a punt near the Utah sideline, Clay spun off a defender and reversed field for an impressive 58-yard punt return touchdown to give the Utes a 14-0 lead just six minutes into the game. The play gave Clay his fourth touchdown of the return variety this season -- he's scored three of those on punts and one on a kickoff return.
The Utes looked like they were in good shape by leading 21-0 early on, but it turned out Clay's return and a pick-six were fool's gold as WSU's defense clamped down on the Utah offense to come from behind and win.
