Women’s Golf Seventh Through 36 at Rose City

AURORA, Ore. – The Oregon State women’s golf team is in seventh place through 36 holes of play on Monday at the Rose City Collegiate.

The Beavers shot a 30-over 297-309--606 at the par-72, 6,080-yard Langdon Farms Golf Club to put them in the middle of the pack in the 13-team field. Cal State Fullerton posed a 11-over 587 putting the Titans one stroke ahead of San Francisco (12-over 588) and 11 better than UC Irvine (22-over 598).

“Both players and coaches are not pleased with today’s effort and result,” Oregon State head coach Sammie Chergo said. “Collectively we managed the golf course poorly and made an inordinate amount of big numbers. It will be important to learn from today and continue to grow as a team.”
