• It was another topsy-turvy weekend for Pac-12 women’s soccer and the tough schedule does not let up as this week’s action features a top-three matchup and a slew of upset teams looking for redemption. Headlining this week is a battle of the unbeatens as top-ranked UCLA hosts No. 3 STANFORD on Thursday, Oct. 9 in a game to be televised live on Pac-12 Networks. 

• For the fourth-consecutive week, five Pac-12 women's soccer teams are ranked in the top 25 of this week’s NSCAA polling, with seven total teams receiving votes. UCLA continues its stand at No. 1 for the eighth-straight week and Stanford stayed at No. 3. ARIZONA STATE hovered around the same spot, weighing in at 19th. WASHINGTON STATE leapt into the poll after receiving votes for three-straight weeks, coming in at No. 21 this week. CALIFORNIA dropped down to No. 22 after two home losses. WASHINGTON is receiving votes for the third time this season.

• In the latest NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer RPI rankings, 10 of the 12 league teams are in the top 50, including five in the top 25. Stanford leads the charge at the No. 1 spot, followed closely by No. 3 UCLA and No. 10 Washington State. 

• Pac-12 weekly awards went to Stanford’s Ryan Walker-Hartshorn for Offensive Player of the Week after the sophomore recorded her second hat trick of the season. COLORADO’s Tori Cooper took home Defensive Player of the Week, while UCLA’s Katelyn Rowland was named Goalkeeper of the Week. 

• Five of the league’s goalkeepers are ranked in the top 25 in national save percentage, with Stanford’s Jane Campbell holding the best mark in the nation. Also ranked in the same category are Washington State’s Gurveen Clair, UTAH’s Lindsey Luke, UCLA’s Katelyn Rowland and OREGON STATE’s Bella Geist

• This season, Pac-12 women’s soccer will receive unprecedented coverage with 69 games set to be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Networks, including 27 non-conference games to begin the year. For more information, including a complete TV schedule, visit www.pac-12.com.
