Men’s Hoops Tip-Off Dinner Scheduled
CORVALLIS, Ore. – College basketball season is right around the corner, and Our Beaver Nation is getting ready by hosting the annual Men’s Basketball Tip-Off Dinner on Oct. 22 at Castaway’s in Portland. Registration for the event is available at this link.
The Tip-Off Dinner gives fans and boosters the opportunity to interact with Oregon State men’s basketball coaches and student-athletes in a casual setting. New head coach Wayne Tinkle, his coaching staff and players invite Beaver fans to this year’s event, which will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Castaway’s in Portland, located at 1900 NW 18th Ave.
“My staff and I are very excited to meet our wonderful donors and introduce our team to Beaver Nation at the Tip-Off Dinner,” Tinkle said. “We’ve heard nothing but great things about this event, and we look forward to continuing a tradition that gets everyone pumped up for the start of college basketball season. Go Beavs!”
The Tip-Off Dinner is $65.00 per person. Fans are able to reserve a table of 10 for $650.00 and for $1,000.00 an attendee can reserve a premier table of eight with a coach, student-athlete or VIP guest. The reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 7 p.m.
Oregon State is offering an exclusive #Commit2Wayne ticket plan that provides fans with season tickets for a flat $199 (tickets were $364 last season). The price will gradually step up the following seasons ($249, $299, $349) but remain affordable, and there is no obligation to commit to all four years. Season tickets will be $349 next year and beyond for fans who do not take advantage of this unique opportunity this year.
