XC’s Bricks, Balder, Led Sun Devils At Thunderbird Classic

MESA, Ariz.—Arizona State cross country’s Macy Bricks and Jack Balder led the Sun Devil runners on Saturday at Mesa Community College’s Thunderbird Classic, held at the MCC Campus.

Each runner ran as an individual, with Bricks placing fifth in the women’s 5k in 18:18.1. Kayla Springford finished in 12^th in 19:08.2, while Mia Townsend followed in 18^th at 19:51.1.

In the men’s 8k, Balder finished 11^th in 26:22.5, while Tommy Williams took 14^th in 26:32.9.

The Sun Devils will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Wisconsin Invitational.
