Fighting through smothering coverage, Cal receiver Chris Harper snagged a pass from quarterback Luke Rubenzer with one hand, pulled it into his body and got his feet inbounds for a jaw-dropping touchdown catch Saturday in a 36-34 loss to UCLA.
The play gave the Golden Bears a 14-10 lead early in the second quarter, and it was just part of a wild back-and-forth game that came down to the final minute of play.

How tough was Harper's catch? The coverage from UCLA’s Ishmael Adams was so tight that it drew a pass interference penalty that Cal would decline, but that did not stop Harper from grabbing another impressive one-handed catch, his fourth touchdown of the 2014 season.
