Trevor Davis makes leaping catch against UCLA before leaving with injury
Cal receiver Chris Harper gave the Golden Bears their first lead of a back-and-forth against UCLA with a one-handed touchdown catch, so it was only fitting that his teammate, receiver Trevor Davis, got the Bears the lead back with another remarkable touchdown catch.
Davis beat the UCLA defense over the top and showed off his vertical with an acrobatic 24-yard touchdown grab that gave the Bears a 28-27 in the third quarter.
Unfortunately, Davis would leave the game due to an injury suffered on a kickoff return late in the fourth quarter. The junior was able to signal a “thumbs up” to the crowd before leaving the field in a game that the Bruins ended up winning, 36-34.
