Kweishi Brown's interception seals ASU Sun Bowl victory
For a second half that featured so much offensive back-and-forth, it was a defensive play that made the difference in Arizona State’s 36-31 Sun Bowl victory over Duke Saturday in El Paso.
With Duke driving deep into Sun Devil territory, Arizona State defensive back Kweishi Brown picked off Duke quarterback Anthony Boone’s pass in the end zone with 45 seconds remaining.
The interception sealed Arizona State’s 10th win of the season, giving Arizona State back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in more than 40 years.
