Oregon's Marshall responds to the Ducks being called a 'finesse team'
Oregon running back Byron Marshall doesn't get the stigma. He's not sure why his team is often characterized as soft, gimmicky, or just a 'finesse team,' and he made it clear to the Rose Bowl media Tuesday that the Ducks can and will play with anybody.
An early loss at home to Arizona wasn't pretty, but in a true showing of unbridled retribution, it's fair to say that Oregon proved itself the better team vs. the Wildcats in the 2014 Pac-12 Championship Game. Now, as ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit explained to Pac-12 Networks, it's time for the Ducks and the Pac-12 to silence the critics in the inaugural College Football Playoff.
