Oregon fans show off their creative hairstyles at Playoff Fan Central
DALLAS, Texas -- The biggest games on the biggest stages bring out the biggest fans, and with the Oregon Ducks on the precipice of Monday's College Football Playoff National Championship game, it's full-steam ahead for fans of the green and gold.
And when we say fans of the green and gold, we mean the team AND the colors.
One of the most notable things that stuck out Sunday at the Playoff Fan Central in Dallas was the way Ducks fans showed their pride through their hair, both on their head and on their chin.
For your viewing pleasure and in no particular order, here are the top 5 Duck-themed hairstyles that we appreciated.
1) Bryan dons the Ducks handlebar mustache
It's hard to top a well-groomed handlebar 'stache, but when you add the green and gold flavor like Bryan did, you've got a #BackThePac winner.
2) The Buzz Duck
We feel comfortable saying that this depiction of The Oregon Duck is a cut above the rest.
3) All green and gold everything
So, these folks are quite well known to the Oregon supporters community. While her green coif may or may not be real, the beard on him is real and it's spectacular. That fact that it blends so naturally into his sideburns is icing on the cake.
4) The wings of a true Duck
This has everything. From the well-defined O to the yellow accents to the intracacy of the wings, it's got everything. It's as if this guy took an Oregon helmet to a barber shop and said, "I'm going for this look."
5) Rubber Duckie, you're the one
OK, so this technically isn't a hairstyle. We know. But it goes on TOP of a hairstyle, so it counts. Also, anything with a rubber duckie on top and duck feet ear flaps deserves major kudos.
