Pac-12 Now for Android adds Chromecast support

Feb 17, 2015

Grab your popcorn: Pac-12 Now for Android is launching support for Chromecast, giving fans yet another way to watch Pac-12 Networks on the big screen.

The Pac-12 Now App gives fans who subscribe to Pac-12 Networks through a participating TV Provider streaming access to live content 24/7. It also provides free access to thousands of videos on demand, including features and highlights across all Pac-12 sports. Android users can now extend the viewership of all that programming to Chromecast devices (iOS support is coming soon).

“We are thrilled to enable Chromecast in our Pac-12 Now app. This furthers Pac-12 Networks’ commitment to providing 24/7 access to live coverage and content to fans wherever they are,” said Ryan Currier, Head of Digital Products.

Chromecast offers fans a new, easy way to watch any video from the Pac-12 Now App on their home TV screens. To start streaming, users simply plug Chromecast into their TV, connect it to the same WiFi network as their mobile device running the latest version of Pac-12 Now, then press the "cast" icon to cast live content and videos from the Pac-12 Now app to their TV.
