SAN FRANCISCO-- For the fifth week in a row, seven of eight Pac-12 gymnastics squads are ranked in the Top 25 nationally and for the first time since Jan. 19, three Pac-12 squads are ranked in the Top 10 with No. 9 UCLA rejoining the Top 10 after a season-best score of 197.075 against STANFORD. No. 4 UTAH remains undefeated and will host No. 16 STANFORD this Saturday.

The Pac-12 also claims the No. 1 individual all-arounder in the nation for the fifth week in a row this week. UCLA’s Samantha Peszek is No. 1, after UTAH’s Georgia Dabritz had held the spot for four straight weeks. This is Peszek’s second week at No. 1 this season, as she had shared the spot with Dabritz the week of Jan. 26.

Pac-12 success on the bars: All eight Pac-12 squads are ranked in the top 25 nationally on the bars this week, led by UTAH at No. 4. Four Pac-12 gymnasts rank in the top 15 individually on the bars this week including No. 3 Georgia Dabritz of UTAH, No. 8 Samantha Peszek of UCLA, No. 11 Kassandra Lopez of UTAH, and No. 15 Allison Northey of WASHINGTON.

Pac-12 freshmen continue to shine: Pac-12 freshman continue to perform well in the national rankings this week. CALIFORNIA’s Toni-Ann Williams, who is the Pac-12 Gymnast of the week and the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the fifth week in a row, is ranked at No. 3 nationally on the floor and No. 8 nationally on the vault. STANFORD’s Elizabeth Price is No. 4 on the vault while UTAH’s Kari Lee ranks at No. 11 on the beam and No.  25 on the vault. WASHINGTON’s Zoey Schaefer is No. 18 on the floor.

UCLA to open non-Conference competition: So far in 2015, the Bruins have only faced Pac-12 squads. No. 9 UCLA will host No. 7 Nebraska, Sacramento State, and Bridgeport in their first non-conference meet of the season on Saturday. The Bruins have set new season-best team scores in each of their last three meets.

Note on rankings: Starting next week, the rankings reported in this release will no longer be based on Total Season Average. Rather, they will be based on Regional Qualifying Score for the remainder of the season.
