Jason Terry's Arizona jersey retired
The Jet's jersey has found its own place in the sky at the McKale Center.
Former Wildcat standout Jason Terry was immortalized in McKale on Thursday night during halftime of Arizona's 87-57 win over USC. The fifteen-year NBA veteran has a pair of championships to his name; one with the 1997 Wildcats and another with the 2011 Dallas Mavericks.
Arguably one of the school's top NBA products, Terry averaged 22 points, three rebounds and five assists per game in his senior season at Arizona. Terry joins the likes of Steve Kerr, Mike Bibby, Jason Gardner, and Sean Elliott to become the fifth Wildcat in history to have his jersey retired.
