Harrison Advances to NCAA Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Oregon State swimming team completed action at the Pac-12 Championships with eight events on Saturday. Sammy Harrison highlighted the day, coming in second in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 15:54.61, an A NCAA cut time.

Sophie MacEwan finished the 100 Yard Backstroke with the top time for OSU at 57.24, while Amr had a time of 57.43, while McLaggan came in at 57.44.

The best time for the Beavers in 400 Yard Medley Relay involved the team of Amr, Corrine Isleta, Andrea Young and Samantha Harrison. The group stopped the clock at 3:48.09.                                      

Emma Osowski and Taylor Frank had times of 17:32.36 and 17.37.10 in the 1650 Freestyle while Amr finished the 200 Yard Backstroke in 2:03.97.

Anni Hecker had the top finish for the Beavers in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.71, followed closely by Constance Toulemonde with 51.91.

Andrea Young had the team best time in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, going in 2:18.04. Czsarina Isleta was right behind Young, coming if with tine 2:19.66.

Brooke Meyer stopped the clock at 2:02.93 in the 200 Yard Butterfly for the best time for the Beavers. Jesikah Cavanaugh came in with a time of 2:06.21.

The last event of the day was the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay and the group of Toulemonde, Young, Hecker and Harrison stopped the block at 3:26.19.
