Last Game
Gabe Clark’s three-run home run in the seventh inning proved to be the game winner as the Beavers closed out the midweek series versus San Jose State with an 8-2 win on Wednesday night. Michael Howard followed that up with a solo home run as part of OSU’s six-run seventh that helped the club to the six-run victory.

Flemer Keeps The Starters Rolling
According to d1baseball.com, Kevin Flemer had the top “score” among starting pithers on Wednesday night at 69. His one run in 6 2/3 innings kept the OSU’s starting staff ERA moving south as the group is now at 2.56 in 158 innings. OSU’s starters have quality starts in 17 of the team’s 25 games, and the Beavers are 15-2 when that happens.

Through 25
KJ Harrison became the first Pac-12 Conference player to hit the 30-RBI mark when he drove in two in Wednesday’s victory. Harrison has nine doubles, three triples and seven home runs to go along with the 30 RBI. By comparison, Michael Conforto had six doubles, six home runs and 33 RBI through OSU’s first 25 games in 2012.

At Home
OSU’s midweek series sweep pushed the Beavers’ record to 13-0 at home this season. OSU is one of just four teams with 10 or more wins at home to remain perfect. The Beavers are hitting .296 with 14 home runs at Goss Stadium, while the staff has held opponents to a .153 average and three round trippers. The staff’s ERA is an impressive 1.49 - opponents are at 7.64.

Andrew Moore At Home
Andrew Moore, naturally, has been sharp over his career at Goss Stadium. The junior comes into his start Friday night with a 13-2 mark in 20 games, including 19 starts, and has posted a miniscule 1.60 ERA. He has 122 strikeouts to just 32 walks 146 1/3 innings. This year, he has 30 strikeouts to two walks in 26 innings.

Singles
• OSU is 16-3 in non-conference play and needs just four victories to hit 20 for the seventh consecutive season.
• The Beavers have gone four consecutive games without an error, pushing their fielding percentage to .978. OSU is 10-1 when not committing an error.
• Both KJ Harrison and Gabe Clark are tied for the Pac-12 lead with seven home runs.
