Arizona continues its quest for the Final Four Thursday night with a Sweet 16 matchup against Xavier (7:15 p.m. PT, TBS), and Sam Vecenie of CBS Sports discusses the relationship between Sean Miller and T.J. McConnell. Pittsburgh roots run deep for the both of ‘em.

USC

UCLA

Cal football added UC Davis and Cal Poly to its future schedules, playing the Aggies in 2019 and Mustangs in 2020 (both in Berkeley, of course).

Colorado

In addition to booking future dates with TCU, Colorado also added a series with Texas A&M. The Buffs will head to College Station in 2020 and the Aggies will make the return trip to Boulder in 2021.

Washington State

Kevin Gemmell believes that the Washington State quarterback competition could go on for a while. The Cougars begin spring practice Thursday, and Mike Leach said that Luke Falk and Peyton Bender will be gunning for the No. 1 spot.

Stanford

This is pretty cool – former Stanford wide receiver Chris Owusu was one of a handful of New York Jets to help a teen girl ask a boy out to prom (he said yes). Here’s a video package of it courtesy of CNN.

Charli Turner Thorne and her women's hoops squad are head to North Carolina after their final practice in Tempe yesterday before the Sweet 16.The Sun Devils are taking on Florida State Friday night at 6:30 PT.

Oregon State

Oregon State pitcher Kevin Flemer powered the Beavers past San Jose State 8-2 Wednesday night, needing just 83 pitches to retire 20 Spartans. Not bad for your first career start, eh?
