RichRod lets fan pick a play at Arizona football spring game
Ever want to know what it's like to call a play for a college football team? Well, your best shot might be to attend Arizona's spring football game.
Much like he did last year, Wildcats football coach Rich Rodriguez lightened the mood on Friday night at the end of the spring game in Tucson. Not only did he bust out a sterling rendition of 'Happy birthday' for one lucky fan, but he let another pick a play from his drawing board.
Better yet, the play resulted in a touchdown. If RichRod keeps getting results, co-offensive coordinators Calvin Magee and Rod Smith might be looking for work elsewhere.
