UCLA Prepares for Spring Showcase on Saturday

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA football team will conclude nearly a month long practice period with the Spring Showcase presented by UCLA Health on Saturday, April 25. The Spring Showcase will be held at the Rose Bowl and will begin at 10 a.m. The event will air on the Pac-12 Networks.

Gates to the Rose Bowl will open at 9 a.m. All fans are asked to enter the venue through Gate A. Tickets are $5 with all proceeds going to Operation Mend. Admission is free for UCLA season ticket holders and UCLA students. Parking lots will open at 6 a.m. and will cost $15. Golf course parking will not be available.

The Fan Zone will be located inside the gates of the Rose Bowl and will open when gates to the venue open at 9 a.m. The Spring Showcase Fan Zone will feature interactive activities, concessions and giveaway items.

Limited edition posters will be handed out to the first 5,000 fans. The Bruins will be signing autographs on the field following the event for a limited time. All fans are limited to the signing of one item only.

This offseason, UCLA signed one of the nation’s top recruiting classes and will return 18 starters from a 2014 squad that defeated three top-15 ranked opponents, including Kansas State in the Valero Alamo Bowl, and finished #10 in the country.

Posting a second consecutive school record-tying 10-win season while playing the nation’s hardest schedule, the Bruins also saw fan support at record levels, leading the Pac-12 Conference in home attendance while establishing a new single-season record for attendance of UCLA Football games at the Rose Bowl.

This year, the Bruins will open the regular season at the Rose Bowl when they face Virginia on Saturday, Sept. 5.  Season tickets for the 2015 season are on sale now at uclabruins.com/tickets.
