SAN FRANCISCO – Caroline Inglis of OREGON has been named the Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Month for April, the Pac-12 announced today.

Inglis lead the Ducks to unchartered waters this April, with a second-place team finish at the Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships, which was the program's best finish in school history. The junior from Eugene, Oregon was the first individual Conference champion in program history as she carded a 7-under 206 – the second-lowest 54-hole tournament total in the school annals. Her 67's in the first and third rounds at the Pac-12 Championships were career low rounds for Inglis.

She also paced the team in their win earlier the month at the Silverado Showdown, which was the Duck’s second team win of the spring, and the first time Oregon won two spring tournaments in a season since 2000. Now ranked No. 43 in the nation by Golfstat, Inglis currently possesses a 72.21 scoring average, which is on pace to break teammate Cassy Isagawa's 72.76 school record from the 2011-12 season.

This is Oregon’s first golfer of the month recipient this season and Inglis’ first career golfer of the month award. The Ducks now head to San Antonio, Texas, for NCAA regionals starting Thursday, May 7th.

Also nominated for golfer of the month honors were Lindsey Weaver, Jr., ARIZONA; Noemi Jimenez, Sr., ARIZONA STATE; Alexis Keating, Jr., COLORADO; Anica Yoo, Sr., OREGON STATE; Bronte Law, So., UCLA; Lauren Kim, Fr., STANFORD; Ying Luo, Jr., WASHINGTON.
