Roundup: NBA Draft projections for Pac-12ers
Provided Mario Hezonja is off the board, RealGM is reporting that the Detroit Pistons are targeting Stanley Johnson with the No. 8 pick. Meanwhile, Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post believes that Johnson could be a good fit for the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets have the No. 7 pick.
Chris Fedor of the Northeast Ohio Media Group believes the Cleveland Cavaliers should target Delon Wright with the No. 24 pick. Fedor also mentions Rondae Hollis-Jefferson as an option at 24 for the Cavs.
CBS Sports’ Zach Harper writes that Stanford basketball alum Anthony Brown is an NBA Draft sleeper, noting that his length (take note, Jay Bilas) and dead-eye shooting can make him a serious asset in the Association. Joseph Young also gets some love from Harper here.
Speaking of which, most NBA draft projections have Joseph Young going in the second round. NBA.com has him going 54th overall to the Jazz and Draftexpress.com has him going 49th to the Wiz, but ESPN has him going late in the first round to the Lake Show (27th overall).
