Nice way to cap off a collegiate career – Cal’s Missy Franklin won the Honda Cup, which is given to the nation's top female collegiate athlete.


Former UCLA quarterback Asiantii Woulard says he is transferring to South Florida. He originally committed to USF before Skip Holtz was fired.


Colorado basketball’s Josh Scott was invited to the Team USA training camp for the Pan Am Games squad that will play July 21-25 in Toronto. He is one of only three Buffs all-time with more than 1,000 points, 600 boards, 100 blocks and 60 thefts. Kaleb Tarczewski will also be at the training camp.

Stanford athletics lists all the Stanford athletes competing at the World University Games in South Korea (July 3-14). Twenty-five athletes and four coaches will put it down for Nerd Nation in Gwangju.


Dirk Facer of the Deseret News writes that Delon Wright is “ready to get started” with the Toronto Raptors, which took him 20th overall in Thursday’s 2015 NBA Draft. He’s gonna get to keep rocking No. 55 with Toronto.

Arizona State basketball coach Bobby Hurley is embracing the rules changes, Cronkite News’ Cuyler Meade explains in this special for FOX Sports Arizona. Hurley likes to play fast so the drop to a 30-second shot clock shouldn’t impact the Forks much.
