Arizona

It has been quite the Orlando Pro Summer League for a couple of former Wildcats. First, Stanley Johnson is showing an all-around game, leading the Pistons to a 90-65 win over the Pacers behind his 20 points, 10 boards, three thefts, two dimes and two blocks. Also, Aaron Gordon has shined at Summer League, averaging an Orlando Pro Summer League best 21.7 points and 11.7 boards per contest. He is expected to be held out of the remainder of Summer League play.

UCLA

Let’s take a look at the new UCLA football uniforms that Adidas released Thursday morning. New pattern on ‘em.

Utah

The Salt Lake Tribune points out that Utah is one of four schools on both the Ray Guy and Lou Groza watch lists. Punter Tom Hackett and kicker Andy Phillips put Utah in elite company with Washington, Western Michigan and Duke.

Washington State

The Spokesman-Review’s John Blanchette gives his thoughts on the change in radio voices for Washington State athletics contests, paying homage to the highly-respected, on-his-way-out Bud Nameck (and not quite writing in the same glowing tone about IMG College).

Stanford

The 2015 Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame class was announced earlier this week, with former women’s basketball great and WNBA All-Star Nicole Powell being one of the standouts of the eight inductees.

Oregon State

Former Oregon State AD Bob De Carolis is returning to Michigan in an advisory role, Michigan announced Tuesday night. De Carolis was previously at Michigan from 1979-98 and was the Wolverines’ softball coach from 1980-84.

USC

USC swimmer Reed Malone won gold in the 200-meter freestyle at the World University Games for the United States earlier in the week. He also won bronze in the 400-meter free on the same day.

California

Let’s see how Ivan Rabb’s first week at Cal is going thanks to this video feature from Cal athletics.

Colorado

Kyle Ringo features Colorado women's basketball player Jamee Swan. The senior-to-be is looking to be more consistent on the floor in 2015-16.

Oregon

Apparently there’s an Urban Meyer quote on a wall in Oregon’s football facility. It’s from 2010, when the then-Florida Gators head honcho talked about how impressive the quack attack was.

Arizona State

David Lombardi writes that the Territorial Cup is a “year-round discussion point” for Arizona State. The Sun Devils will most likely need to beat the Wildcats to secure a spot in the Pac-12 Football Championship Game (like they did in 2013 to secure home field).

Washington

See the highlights from the 2014-15 Washington academic year in this teaser for “Timelines.” The Huskies edition will air July 15 at 7 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Washington.
