Arizona State

Do yourself a favor and check out Arizona State football coach Todd Graham’s Sun Devil boots. A sight to behold, they are.

Stanford

Tight – the Pac-12 announced a three-year partnership with adidas. I’ll take some new D-Roses on the conference’s dime.

Washington

A couple of Husky alums in Lincoln Kennedy and Nigel Burton have joined Pac-12 Networks as studio analysts for the football season. The play-by-play guys who’ll be calling the action this year on the Networks – Ted Robinson, Kevin Calabro, Roxy Bernstein and JB Long – are all cream of the crop.

USC

Read this USA Today feature on USC quarterback Cody Kessler. Dude has come from figuring to be buried in the depth chart to a potential Heisman candidate in 2015.

Washington State

Jacob Thorpe gives us five predictions for Washington State football in 2015. Let’s hold Jacob to his word that if he gets all of his predictions wrong, he’ll jump into a river after the Apple Cup. Should be a nice and warm river in late November.

Utah

Gordon Monson of the Salt Lake Tribune writes that Utah running back Devontae Booker is better than he predicted he would be. He told journos in 2014 fall camp that he’d run for 1,000 yards in the upcoming season (he ran for 1,512) and he’s bringing the Heisman hype to the SLC in 2015.

Oregon

Ted Miller recounts a positive experience former Oregon linebacker Derrick Malone had with the police recently. The cops helped him change a tire on his car.

Oregon State

As we near media days (Thursday and Friday, yo), a sizzle reel of Oregon State football players and fans waving chainsaws should whet your appetite. The Beavers will be looking to turn in a few Reser Chainsaw Massacres against their opponents starting in a little more than a month. Also, eight Oregon State baseball alums have reached the majors in 2015, a program record. Thanks for the link, Connor Letourneau.

Arizona

With the start of Arizona football being 37 days away (on Wednesday), AZ Desert Swarm reminds us that Arizona football played its first Pac-10 game 37 years ago. Funny backstory included on how the Cats got some motivation heading into their conference lid-lifter against Oregon State that year.

California

California Golden Blogs provides us with a transcript of Sonny Dykes’ interview on SiriusXM College Football Radio. He talks about Jared Goff and the Pac-12 landscape, among other things.

UCLA

UCLA men’s basketball will open up with UNLV in the Maui Invitational. Other brand name programs in the tourney include Kansas and Indiana.

Colorado

Let’s look back at the Colorado women’s soccer team’s trip to Spain. The Buffs spent 10 days there, and senior Heather Ward pens an account of the happenings for CUBuffs.com.

Stanford

Mark Soltau whips up this interesting GoStanford.com feature on former Stanford rowers Jason Luptakin and Oivind Lorentzen racing in a 200-mile row on open water from Barcelona to Ibiza to help raise money for the HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation.
