Stanford

It’s not quite over for the Pac-12 in the College Football Playoff after the latest rankings were released. Stewart Mandel of FOX Sports details how two-loss Stanford can make the College Football Playoff. The Cardinal dropped just four spots from seventh to 11th after the loss to Oregon.

UCLA

Sam Gardner of FOX Sports writes about how recent developments at Missouri brings back memories of 1998 for former UCLA football player Brendon Ayanbadejo. Back in ’98, UCLA students protested a ruling that effectively eliminated affirmative action. The football team wanted to express their concern, but coach Bob Toledo wouldn’t have any of it.

Colorado

Have yourself a game, kid – redshirt freshman George King scored 27 points to lead Colorado basketball to a 91-84 victory over Auburn on Tuesday. The Buffs trailed by 15 late in the first half before surging ahead.

Oregon

So, did you know that Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams has an “SC” tattoo? The SoCal kid grew up a huge Trojans fan. That said, he says it stands for Southern California, not USC (though it does look a lot like the USC logo…).

USC

Kyle Bonagura notes how USC has overcome slow starts under Clay Helton. The Trojans got down two scores against the Buffs before coming back to win.

Washington State

Chantel Jennings dives into the numbers propelling Washington State’s in-season turnaround from loss to FCS Portland State to winning season with wins over Oregon and UCLA. One of the big reasons? The Cougars are a whopping 74 percent on fourth-down conversions this year.

California

Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle notes that Cal is keying in on containing Stanford's Christian McCaffrey. Easier said than done.

Arizona State

Andy Benoit of MMQB tells us what we know about Brock Osweiler as an NFL quarterback as the former Sun Devil gets ready to replace an injured Peyton Manning as the starting QB for the Denver Broncos against the Chicago Bears Sunday.

Washington

Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports tells us why Andrew Andrews didn’t transfer out of Washington when seemingly everyone else did. Staying at U-Dub gave him the best platform to showcase himself for the next level, Andrews believes, because he gets to run the point.

Oregon State

Check out the highlights of Oregon State men’s basketball’s 93-73 win over Iona Tuesday night on Pac-12 Networks. Another double-double for Gary Payton II, who was recently named to the preseason top 50 list for the Wooden Award.

Utah

Kyle Goon discusses how Utah basketball center Jakob Poeltl has improved in his second year with the Utes.

Arizona

Nick Latta of Arizona Desert Swarm breaks down the Arizona basketball game against Boise State in the Wooden Legacy opener Thursday night. The Broncos won 25 games last season and made the NCAA tournament.
