USC’s Then Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month

SAN FRANCISCOGabriella Then of USC has been named the Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Month for November, the Pac-12 announced today.

The Rancho Cucamonga native took first place in both of her match play matches at the East Lake Cup held in Atlanta, Georgia. Then defeated Baylor’s Louise Gateau-Chovelon 3&2 in the semifinals and completed the finals with a victory over world No. 1 Duke’s Leona Maguire, 1up as USC won the Inaugural East Lake Cup. Then never trailed in her finals match against Maguire.

This marks USC’s second win of the fall following their victory at the Annika Intercollegiate. USC has won 23 of their last 39 tournaments overall.

Also nominated for golfer of the month honors were Caroline Inglis, Sr., OREGON; Ashlee Pickerell, Sr., OREGON STATE; Bronte Law, Jr., UCLA.
