Pac-12 Networks sells out 2015-16 men's basketball season and sponsorships for 2016 Pac-12 Tournament

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (January 19, 2016) – Fueled by the strength of the Pac-12 Conference, Pac-12 Networks announced today that it has sold out its commercial ad inventory for the 2015-16 men’s basketball season including sponsorships for the 2016 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

“The Pac-12 is having a remarkable year on the court and that excitement, along with the popularity of college athletics, has fueled tremendous interest in our content from a wide range of brands,” said Neil Davis, Executive Vice President of Integrated Sales and Sponsorships for Pac-12 Networks.

With 10 new advertisers and four new tournament sponsors, Pac-12 Networks has more than a 50 percent increase in revenue year-over-year for the current basketball season.  The 10 new advertisers include adidas, 76®, Apple, Cooper Tires, Norelco, Eli Lilly and Company, TurboTax, Dollar Shave Club, Kia and SoFi.

The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will feature new sponsors SoFi, Kia, Cooper Tires and adidas, joining existing sponsors AT&T, Bank of the West, Geico, Chevron and tournament presenting sponsor, New York Life.  All sponsors will receive scorer’s table signage, promotional opportunities at the games, tickets and hospitality.  

New York Life, State Farm and Bank of the West are the title sponsors of the Pac-12 Networks’ regular season games as well as the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Pregame, Halftime and Postgame studio shows.

The Pac-12 conference currently has eight teams ranked in the NCAA RPI top 50, the most in the country, and three more in the top 60.  No Pac-12 team has a losing record and the Conference is ranked second in the country in RPI.
