With as many as five teams ranked for most of the season and the Pac-12 boasting the No. 1 RPI in the country (five teams in the top 17), so far, league play can be characterized by big matchups, upsets and historic moments. In the latest installment of Conference action from over the weekend, No. 11/8 OREGON STATE had a big comeback to defeat No. 12/14 STANFORD for the first time since 2001, OREGON’s Jillian Alleyne became the Pac-12’s all-time rebounding leader and WASHINGTON posted back-to-back wins over ranked opponents (both decisions coming within nine points) ... Four Pac-12 teams are ranked this week, ARIZONA STATE and OSU are ranked No. 8 and No. 11 spots in the Associated Press  and USA Today/WBCA polls, with ASU leading the way for Pac-12 teams in the writers’ polling and the Beavers earning the higher rating by the coaches ... A top-25 matchup closes out the week of Conference action with No. 12/14 Stanford traveling to No. 20/25 UCLA on Sunday on the Pac-12 Networks ... UW’s Kelsey Plum was named the USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week after leading the Huskies to a pair of victories over the weekend. She was also voted the Pac-12 Player of the Week, while WASHINGTON STATE’s Borislava Hristova was tabbed the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. Both will face off this weekend in the final game of the rivalry series between the teams ... Plum and Alleyne were named to the John R. Wooden Award Midseason Watch List.

RECORDS WATCH
Senior forward Jillian Alleyne pulled down 15 boards to become the Pac-12’s career rebounding leader on Jan. 17, 2016, surpassing the mark set by former Stanford great Chiney Ogwumike. Alleyne is also ranked fourth all-time in NCAA history.

1. Jillian Alleyne, ORE (2012-pres.) 1574
2. Chiney Ogwumike, STAN (2011-14) 1567
3. Kayla Pedersen, STAN (2008-11) 1266
4. Jayne Appel, STAN (2007-10) 1263
5. Nnemkadi Ogwumike, STAN (2009-12) 1226

Alleyne’s total numbers are impressive, but her career average is as well. Having averaged at least 11.9 rpg every season, her career average of 14.5 rpg through three seasons would break the all-time record currently held by former UCLA standout Natalie Williams who maintained a 12.8 rpg in her career from 1991-94.

PAC-12 TEAMS IN THE POLLS
Four Pac-12 teams are ranked this week in both the Associated Press and USA Today/WBCA Coaches polls. The Conference has a team ranked as high as No. 8 in both polls with ARIZONA STATE grabbing the spot in the AP polling and OREGON STATE earning that ranking by the coaches. Five league teams were ranked in the AP poll from the week of Nov. 30 to the week of Jan. 11, it was the longest stretch of that many Pac-12 teams ranked in league history. Prior to that, five teams had been ranked in the AP on Nov. 13, 2006 for two weeks.

QUICKLY AROUND THE LEAGUE
The Pac-12 concluded non-conference play with the top RPI in the nation. The Conference’s 79.7 winning percentage in non-conference regular-season play is the top mark since the league sponsored the sport in 1986-87 ... Now in league play, the Conference owns the top RPI in the country at .6105, according to the NCAA index. Six Pac-12 teams land in the top 20, four ranking in the top 15, the most of any conference in the country  ... Of the 17 women averaging double-doubles in the nation, the Pac-12 is the only league with three players achieving the feat including Alleyne, WASHINGTON’s Chantel Osahor and UTAH’s Emily Potter ... In a battle of two top-15 teams, OREGON STATE snapped a 29-game losing streak to STANFORD on Jan. 17 in Corvallis ... WASHINGTON’s Kelsey Plum needs just 50 points to reach 2,000 for her career.

PAC-12 IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Pac-12 has four individuals ranking in the top five of national statistical categories, as of Jan. 19. WASHINGTON’s Kelsey Plum is averaging a NCAA-best 27.3 points per game. One of the most prolific scorer’s in Pac-12 history, the junior is on the verge of reaching the 2,000-point plateau for her career.

OREGON STATE senior Jamie Weisner is taking advantage of her freebie opportunities, knocking down 91.2 percent of her free throw attempts, ranking fifth in the country..

OREGON senior Jillian Alleyne has recorded double-doubles in the majority of the games she has played in her career. Her 14 double-doubles this season ranks second nationally. Alleyne also ranks 3rd in the country averaging 13.5 rebounds per game.  UTAH senior Katie Kuklok ranks fifth in the NCAA  with a 46.6 3-point shooting percentage.
