SAN FRANCISCO--As Pac-12 Conference competition heats up this weekend, the Conference sits at 17-5 vs. other conferences. Some of the Pac-12’s marquee wins have come against No. 4 Alabama, No. 10 Georgia, and No. 24 Southern Utah. All five of the conference’s losses have come at the hands of teams currently ranked in the top 25 nationally. 

This weekend will feature two Conference top-25 match-ups as well as two Pac-12 squads heading on the road to face non-conference top-15 teams. 

In the national rankings, the Pac-12 is leading the way in two of four events with UCLA ranked first nationally on the floor and UTAH ranked first nationally on the bars. Individually, UCLA’s Danusia Francis is leading the nation on the beam.

Pac-12 in the rankings: This week’s top-25 features five Pac-12 squads, including two of the top six. UCLA, Utah, Oregon State, Stanford, and California are all ranked this week.

Top non-conference competition continues: After a weekend of competition against ranked teams such as Florida, Oklahoma, Southern Utah and Georgia, the Pac-12’s tough non-conference competition will continue this week. ARIZONA STATE is traveling to Norman to take on No. 2 Oklahoma and WASHINGTON is traveling to No. 14 Denver.

Pac-12 competition heats up: Head to head Pac-12 action will get underway in earnest this weekend and feature two top-25 match-ups. No. 5 UCLA will take on ARIZONA, No. 11 OREGON STATE will head to No. 6 UTAH, and No. 23 CALIFORNIA will face No. 17 STANFORD.

Individual rankings: Six different Pac-12 gymnasts from four different schools are ranked in the top five nationally for an individual event. OREGON STATE’s Dani Dessaints is ranked No. 3 on the vault. UTAH’s Baely Rowe, UTAH’s Kassandra Lopez, and STANFORD’s Elizabeth Price are all tied for No. 3 on the bars. UCLA’s Danusia Francis is the national leader on the beam, and UCLA’s Sadiqua Bynum in No. 4 on the floor. STANFORD’s Price also ranks fourth in the nation in the all-around.
