Next generation of Pac-12 football talent make their Networks debut in expanded ‘Inside Pac-12 Football: Signing Day Special, Presented by Farmer’s Insurance’ 

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (February 1, 2016) – The 2015 college football season is in the books and programs across the country are turning the page to 2016, securing the next generation of football talent to their rosters on National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 3.

Pac-12 Networks will once again bring fans complete coverage of the newest players to join the Conference of Champions with an expanded 2.5-hour Inside Pac-12 Football: Signing Day Special, Presented by Farmer’s Insurance. The show airs live on Pac-12 Network at 4:30 p.m. PT, and follows on Pac-12 Bay Area, Pac-12 Los Angeles, Pac-12 Mountain and Pac-12 Oregon at 7:00 p.m. PT. Pac-12 Arizona and Pac-12 Washington viewers can tune into the special at 9:00 p.m. PT following the live telecast of Arizona-Washington State men’s basketball. The show is also available for viewing online at Pac-12.com/now and via the Pac-12 Now app.

Inside Pac-12 Football: Signing Day Special will be hosted by Mike Yam, alongside Yogi Roth and Nigel Burton. The show will include interviews with every Pac-12 head football coach on their team’s commitments and how those signees work to meet each team’s needs. The trio will also analyze the biggest signings and surprises from around college football how the recruiting classes of Pac-12 teams stack up against other college football programs from around the nation.

The Pac-12 looks to have another banner year of securing the nation’s best talent with four programs in Scout.com’s Top 25 signing day classes – No. 11 UCLA, No. 14 Stanford, No. 19 Oregon and No. 25 USC. Washington and Arizona are also close behind at No. 26 and No. 28, respectively. Last year’s Signing Day Special introduced viewers to 2015 Pac-12 Freshmen of the Year Josh Rosen (offensive) and Cameron Smith (defensive), as well as USC RB Ronald Jones, Utah RS Britian Covey and Washington RB Myles Gaskin.

Other elements that will be visible through the 2.5-hour Signing Day Special are:

  • Side ticker tracking signing day classes from all 12 Conference football programs
  • Interviews with all 12 Conference head coaches on their signing day class

From a social standpoint, Facebook.com/Pac12Conference and @pac12networks on Twitter will be the main hub for signing day information with live reports from Pac-12 Network talent throughout the day.

On Pac-12.com a special Football Signing Day microsite will features numerous content elements to engage fans on the newest players to join their favorite Pac-12 teams:

  • Live streams of select head coach press conferences
  • Activation of hashtag #Pac12NSD to track all the latest signing day news and information across social channels
  • Interactive U.S. map tracking the football commitments from around the Conference as they are announced, plotting their hometown and sortable by Pac-12 school (live on signing day)

Additional episodes of Inside Pac-12 Football will return on Saturdays in April following Spring Football events.
