Stanford

Read the victim’s letter to Brock Turner, the former Stanford swimmer who was convicted on multiple charges of sexual assault against an unconscious woman outside of a frat party on Stanford’s campus in January 2015 and sentenced to six months in county jail and three years of probation. Turner’s friends and family wrote letters to judge Aaron Pensky to ask for a lesser sentence.

Arizona

Arizona baseball advanced to the Super Regionals by defeating Louisiana 3-1 in a winner-take-all regional final. It was the Wildcats’ second win of the day, earlier defeating the Ragin’ Cajuns 6-3.

Washington State

Basketball coach Cuonzo Martin has officially signed a contract with Cal, AD Mike Williams announced Monday. Martin has been at the school for more than two years, leading the Golden Bears to a 41-26 mark and a perfect 1,000 APR score for the 2014-15 season.

Arizona State has extended women’s basketball coach Charli Turner Thorne’s contract through the 2020-21 season, reports Jeff Metcalfe. The reigning Pac-12 Coach of the Year is entering her 20th season in Tempe and has racked up 380 wins.

Oregon State

Oregon State women’s basketball assistant coach Mandy Close is leaving the program after spending three seasons with the team, Scott Rueck announced on Friday (Corvallis Gazette-Times). The former Beaver hooper is getting married this summer and wants to focus on her family.

Colorado

Colorado volleyball announced its non-conference schedule on Monday. Penn State and Illinois are on the ledger; should be fun.

Oregon
